GROW @ USPED provides children and families the following services:

  • Psycho-educational assessment
  • Developmental-behavioral evaluation
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy

Our diagnostic team of consultants is composed of a developmental psychologist, developmental-behavioral pediatrician, speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist. Each specialist will be available to provide assessments and therapies for students and for consultation with Universal school teachers and parents. With the Wellness Center, Universal School teachers, parents, and specialists will collaborate on a regular basis to ensure accurate and valid assessments of students' learning needs, as well as consistent and effective implementation of interventions at school and at home.

The Outpatient Programme provides therapy and social interventions for clients with Cerebral Palsy, high functioning autism, Asperger's syndrome and other physical disabilities that are in need of therapy. Some of the therapies provided include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and also speech and language pathology.

Our Outpatient programme takes place at the school, hence, it caters mainly to those who can travel around or arrange for their own transport via their caregivers.
